Journal #6

This is the last journal of form 2 :( We,in the last class, did stripling which is basically taking the drawing and colouring it in with dots.Different tonal values can be achieved by the presure of the dots and the amount of dots used . Miss gave us back our drawings and is expecting to see the end result of the stipling Tuesday.She also said to send her the link of the blog Saturday no later then midnight so i made sure to finish mine completely before midnight. I am AMAZED at how my drawing came out :D!!!!!!!!!!!! it looks amazing and for once in my life i actually feel like i can draw!!!! although Miss said not to say that i cant draw and to say that i do not know how to draw and i will learn but i am overjoyed with how my work came out and i am proud of myself because i did it all by myself  =]

Journal #5

Today we didnt have normal class because only 11 or 10 boys came to class so we basically just talked and drew random stuff and miss told us about a a contest where you could win money for the school and yourself or prizes and a lot of us were really interested in it. We drew ALOT of random stufff :D it was reallly fun :)

Journal #4

Today miss marked my collage that I worked hard on. I wasn't really satisfied with my mark because I got 5 out of 10 but miss is a professional artist so I guess she knows what real art looks like and they say teachers know best. I am pretty disappointed in myself because I should have done better but I guess there are some things that I cant change : / . Actually now that I look at it I think I could have done better

Journal #3

Today in art class we worked on still life  with pastels. The pastels reminded me of crayons which I used to love as a toddler. I personally think my own came out great and I feel good that I could actually draw it out like that. I was suprised by the fact that it came out so good and I think miss had liked it :)

Art Journal #2

Today we drew fruit using still life. I wanted to use the five finger but i figured that might rot easily so i used an apple. We had to draw our value charts first  which shows the different tonal values from light to medium to dark. Miss marked ours and i got a good mark which i am pleased with. For next class we have to bring our pastels for still life drawing again. I love how i am now able to draw a fruit =D learning things in art to me is like a whole new experience :) 

Art Journal #1

The term began and miss ave us a scheme of work. We got an assignment for the following two weeks which was the collage of a landscape and that really suprised me because i didnt expect an assignment that would run for two weeks. We were also told to bring a fruit and our drawing pencils and scethpad paper for the next class. I'm really excited because that would be great to actually learn how to draw a fruit. I decided i am going to draw a five finger fruit =D
